Home Depot Complaint - Bad Customer Service
Okay so My husband and I go into our local HD To buy a new gas Range for my sister. The Stove we chose was back ordered. The closest date I could get a delivery in her area was on Sept 9th. so that is the day we chose. Well on Sept 8th they called my sis and said it would be another week. No reason given, my sister may not have asked why (I would have)
So the delivery finally happens and there was supposed to be a haul away of the old appliance. The guy told her she had to call HD to arrange that he was only a delivery guy. So she called and they told her there was no haul away. I specifically asked for haul because it was no extra charge on appliances over $298.
She has the thing less than a week and it stopped working. someone came out from Amana and was able to fix it. Somehow a wire came loose either at the factory or in shipping.
In trying to get the old appliance hauled the people were really kind of rude. I even called because I am the one who bought the thing to begin with, and they were rude to me as well. in the future I don't think I will be buying an appliance there again.
