Cingular Wireless Complaint - no service or teck. support
LAFOLLETTE, TENNESSEE -- I purchased my cingular wireless plan through bellsouth over a year ago,i have a 2 year contract so i cant change service at this time,but I would like to complain about my service, it doesn't reach but 4 miles from my home.Ihave complained from the time i first got the phones.When i complain i stay on hold off and own while one teck sends me to another until they finally tell me it should work soon.Today i was 4 miles from home and both phones went to celluar extended and a AT&T recording came on telling me i was on roaming and could not use this service then another recording said for me to call 611 for cingular assistance,611 gave me another
recording that i had no service.i tried calling cingular wireless and got another recording,your call cant be made,no service.
I came back home and called cingular wireless from my cell phone with no problem and told the lady my problem i was put on hold for about 5 minutes then another lady came on and told me to call the 800# from my home phone,i did and after a long list of auto.questions i was put on hold for the next teck.about 10 minutes then a lady ask what was my problem again so she tried to fix it but decided that my phone had not been programed to use the AT&T tower in this area so i needed to be activated and put me on hold until i could get another teck.to program my phone to that tower.I was on hold about 5 or 6 minutes and got another woman who ask how she could help me,so i started all over again explaning the problem but she decided i was lying that if that last lady had found that problem she would have fixed it and there was nothing wrong with my phone at this time but when it happened again to call back i tried to explain tha i couldn't call when this happens ,she said you have to so i can fix it and nothing was wrong right now,i tried to get it into her thick head that when i had no service i couldn't call anyone,but she said she couldn't fix something that wasn't broke so i explaned it again and she did the same thing again over and over until i said well i gues i only have service 4 miles from home.she didn't care and by this time i had gotten tired of talking to this wall and ask for a supervisor ,she was the supervisor so i ask if she would send me back to the last lady that was trying to help me and this hard headed thang would not and no one with cingular warless could help me so you see cingular wireless cant gurantee that not any of there phones will work or that anyone working for them can make a phone work.I think this is a sorry lowdown disgrace that cingular wireless would take my money every month holding me to a contract and the law is on there side.I wish i could get this to the companys president but that is probably a stupid person also that dont care either.i am disabled and need some kind of communication device with me at all times,i'm thinking of a ham radio.i will compleat my contract because i dont want to be put in a class of dead beats with cingular wireless....let me tell you all,stay away from cingular wireless and AT&T because they have merged...Verizon is the best company and has the best service i ever had.I was with VeriZon for over 5 years and i never had any trouble all those years so you know who will get my business,VERSIZON wireless.i hope it hasent changed...Marshel from Tennessee.
