Hewlett-Packard Company Complaint - HP Photosmart C7250 All-in-One
After initial installation, the software un-installed itself. Several times the software had to be re-installed. Often it would not completely un-install and many hours have been spent uninstalling and re-installing. Finally, HP there posted "Critical Update to Enhance Reliability . . . ." What "reliability"? Has there ever been a software product that un-installs itself? This was not a Windows issue. HP's description for the need of this critical update was, "Corrects an issue that causes the network connected printer to disappear from the system and/or the USB connected printer to repeatedly attempt to reinstall." See HP's driver download description.
After that critical update, it would remain installed. But, it never worked properly. Not all the pages print and text and graphics are missing from the middle of the page.
HP's Customer Support's only offered resolution was to re-install software. That got me off the phone but it never corrected the problem.
HP has tried to deny their warranty liability saying now it is no longer under warranty. However, the problem was never corrected.
