Ecost.com Complaint - BEWARE - ECOST sucks ! no customer service!
After several poor experiences with ecost I took a break from purchasing with them. I hoped that they would get it together and start recognizing that customer service is extremely important in our economy.
I decided to give them another try just a few days ago. I ordered a phone from them. I pulled up their shipping box, and read VERY CAREFULLY their shipping policy. It states: "2nd Day Delivery
Delivery by 4:30pm the second business day after shipment to thousands of cities and by 7:00pm to residential and/or rural addresses. Orders must be placed and credit approved no later than 5:00pm Eastern / 2:00pm Pacific for second business day delivery. This service is not available to Alaska and Hawaii. Signature is required."
I placed my order well before the cut off. I wait for my tracking number. When it doesn't come in 24 hours I become concerned. Now, I had the items shipped to a certain address based off the fact that it said TWO DAY, and I knew where I would be that day of delivery as it was represented. OH no no no . You see, they don't tell you that two day means two days AFTER they "process" your order, which takes two days all on its own.
I paid for two day shipping, and it will take seven days. I am ROYALLY PISSED. I got screwed when I read VERY CAREFULLY their policy. Their own representative refused to help me get my package redirected, and now I will either have to drive 30 miles or pay UPS to send it to a different address.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ECOST. COM THEY ARE HORRIBLE, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS, AND THEY WILL SCREW YOU AT EVERY TURN!
