Gerhards Appliances Complaint - Poor service and worse attitudes

GLENSIDE, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have done business with this company over the past 20 years or so as well as my family. In September we purchased a brand new French door refrigerator from them that was priced around $2500 for next day delivery. We waited around the whole next day and once it came it was the wrong one. Same refrigerator but black sides instead of the gray in which we ordered. Then one of the Gerhards rudely informed me I had ordered the wrong refrigerator and was responsible for restocking charge. Turns out they sent me the older version of what I ordered and tried to bait and switch me. I canceled my credit card and order. I will never do business with them again! We went to another local mom & pop type of shop somewhere in southampton and got a better deal and the right refrigerator.

I find I get better service and better deals from a local appliance store versus a chain store.
