Hilton Hotels Complaint - Hilton Honors Program
I will NEVER stay at a Hilton Branded Property again! Also a Loyal Gold Member. Had a rough 2007, little travel. Had earned (purchased) over 20,000 points which I knew entitled me to a free stay. Went to use it on my Anniversary, but, without noticed, Hilton expired my balance due to inactivity. They said they emailed me, but, I wouldn't risk losing a free stay in downtown Seattle if I knew! Tried to find someone to review my past membership and reinstate my points, but never heard back. Probably sent response to the same email address (that I confirmed with the agent as correct) that they used to notify me of my pending inactivity & account closing. They need some help in the so called "Honors" division. I feel so "Honored" after choosing to use their properties to earn (purchase) points. I'm sure it was in the small print details of the original HH doc's, but seriously Hilton, A customer that had stayed enough to earn 20,000+ points and all you had to do was give hime that comp stay? My goal now is to let as many Internet savey people know how "Honorable" Hilton's program was by visiting as many public forums as possible.
