Sears/Kenmore Complaint - Poor Kenmore support from SEARS
SEARS Kenmore products are not supported by installation. Do not be fooled. I spent extra money for installation and pickup. The cashier at Sears said that I would have installation and pickup of the old Kenmore range on delivery day. The drivers could not touch the wires of my old range because they "are not allowed" They can only plug things in. So I have an old range in the middle of the kitchen and the new one in the garage. My ex-husband has spent the last two hours with our son trying to figure it out. If you go to the SEARS website there are zero reviews for Kenmore ranges. Reason...they are all filtered out...because all of the reviews are BAD. Today is Oct. 7, 2009...I'm just thinking if you suddenly see positive reviews on Sears products...they may well be fake reviews.
Also, forgot to mention that while the delivery people were here and they recognized my disbelief about the service they quickly gave me two 800 numbers to call to try and avert the inconvenience both of which I held online for over 5 minutes each... never reached a human just had to keep pushing numbers. But one of the delivery men managed to get a representative on the phone within seconds...to no avail... they still couldn't install "our drivers don't do that" and the representative just kept repeating "I know how frustrated you are" no solution was offered, just that I would have to get an electrician. What? I paid for installation!
This is a SEARS only product and they do not support it. I don't understand that. I believe it is dishonest. Customer support is bad, repetitive excuses without support. Kenmore BAD! They also have a non-refundable delivery fee. So I would have been out an additional $65 if I had sent it back.
