Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Complaint - Terrible Customer Service

COLUMBUS, OHIO, OHIO -- I have been with this company for over five years with companies and as an individual. The monthly cost keeps rising, and the coverage keeps getting lower. My policy states they will pay for mammography screenings, pelvic exams and pap test. and primary care vist. What a joke! I just keep getting bills for my annual visits. and Anthem refusses to pay. Now that I can't afford to use the policy that I have and wanted to move to a lower cost policy, no agent will speak with me.. I have called Luke Eastwood in Columbus Ohio everyday. and he will not respond to me. How sad, I have paid my bill every month but no one in this company will speak with me- when I need help.

Call them and protest the non-payment of the covered benefits. It may have to go to an outside reviewer but if it is a covered benefit in your policy--they have to pay it. Recently had a patient that they kept refusing to cover a CT scan and it went to an outside reviewer and BC?BS was told they had to pay for it as it was a medically necessary. Do let let them bamboozel you!
