CVS Complaint - Rude Employees
CAPITOLA, CALIFORNIA -- On October 10, 2009, my wife and I went to the CVS store on Bay Avenue in Capitola, CA. We went to the customer service department to buy some items and saw an employee working at the back counter. The employee had her back to us, so my wife said (in a very friendly voice), "hi there." The woman turned around and literally stared at us for several seconds and then said, "what?" I was astounded! I said, "here's what" and set the other items we had intended to purchase on the counter. My wife and I walked out of the store. CVS lost two customers as my wife and I will never set foot in another CVS store. Our local Long's Pharmacy (in Aptos) became a CVS store and I have had them fill our prescriptions for years. No longer. There seems to be some kind of corporate cultural dysfunction at CVS where lack of employee training and disrespect for the customer combine for a toxic effect.
