A site in the internet that Book Hotels - Complaint

I, like many other people (I can see it now) booked a Hotel in May 2009 through the INTERNET SITE BOOK IN HOTELS. COM for 3 nights from October 10 in Venice U$ 833,38, the credit card was successfully charged in may, of course, and on October 1st the site Book in cancelled my pre- paid reservation, sending by e-mail a notification saying that they were sorry, but a financial crises etc... and the money would be refund in the credit card provide at the reservation. So far no refund, I sent them lots of e-mails with no answer, my daughter call them in the USA number that is disconnected. How can those people stay with a site in the internet? using credit card? , VISA, MASTERCARD, charging people, getting out with peoples money and we can't do nothing about it just be a victim of those bandits.

I want to know if there is anything that everybody that is in this same situation with BOOK IN HOTELS can do together to find a way to get our refund.

Have you tried disputing the charge with your credit card or bank?

Don't waste any more time, contact your credit card company immediately before your clock runs out.

I have the same bad experience with this company. I have been waiting for the refund since August. There are many complaints about this company in Internet. However, all people just wait for their refund. I think we have no other choice!
