Washington Mutual Complaint - Bad service - debit card
It was like "through the looking glass". They would not reverse an erronious pending charge until it was paid, and they would not pay it. But, only paid charges can be disputed and the funds restored. My funds will not be available until I dispute the charge which I can not do. I put a deposit of $140 in cash in the ATM, but they withheld $40.00, per their policy. Meanwhile I am without funds. I spoke with a supervisor who could not help, Steven Buchner in N. Y. The company which made the erroneous gave me a tracking # and assured me that would work with WAMU. WAMU wanted them to call in, which is really impossible because WAMU would not provide me with a direct number.
