Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Complaint - Terrible Customer Service
I bought a Samsung Blue Ray video player approximately 6 months ago. About six weeks ago it became unable to play certain Blue Ray Videos. I called a dealer and found out that the machine was already obsolete. I then called Samsung and they told me that they would send me a disc that I could insert in the Blue Ray Player that would take care of the problem. That was around September 16th. (Outrageously they say their policy is that you should receive the disc within 14 "business days" of when they ship. I've never heard of any mail for a small disc that takes over two weeks but worse, they tell you they don't ship within any particular period of time after you call. I've now been waiting a month to be able to use my player. Despite having called probably five times I still have not received a disc. It is impossible to get a hold of any one at the company who knows anything or will do anything. All they have told me for three weeks is that it has been shipped. They refuse to send another disc or tell me when I will get it. I told them I just wanted to return the product and get my money back and they refused. I'm never buying another Samsung product and would suggest for anyone else to stay away from this extremely dysfunctional company!
