Honda Complaint - Known Brake Issue on 2007 Honda Accord
I was distressed to find that the back brakes on my 2007 Honda Accord need to be replaced. Usually front brakes go bad faster than back brakes, but not in this case.
Since this is my 4th Honda, I decided to call American Honda and complain. The representative was very nice, even going so far as to admitting they know there are issues with their brakes, and they are investigating it. If they determine that there is an issue they could possibly pay for it. But they don't know when the investigation will be complete.
So, I have to pay for a brake job at 27k miles, when they know they are having brake issues. I bought a new car with an increased car payment so that I would have reliability.
What kind of service is that? I have a mom in the hospital that I cannot go see until I get my brakes done. I don't have a lot of cash right now from taking time off due to a death in the family, and my mom being in the hospital. I cannot go visit my mom again until I get this fixed. Where is the Honda customer loyality? I have been loyal to Honda, which was obviously a mistake. I will look at other car brands and not Honda next time.
