Bob's Discount Furniture Store Complaint - Broken Promise
FREEPORT, LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK -- I oredered and paid in full for a recliner
Delivery date was that following Saturday Oct. 17, 2009, no delivery, no notice I stayed home all day waiting for delivery. As when It was getting late for deliveries I was told by customer service there was a computer problem and there were no more recliners next order in December 2009. I asked when in Dec. no answer. I requested my delivery charge refunded only to get a promise for the amount in a store credit.
The problem could have been corrected, but they refused to sell me the store's floor model.
The wait time is hard because the purchase was for my Daughter who has MS. She would be spending a lot of time in the chair because she only has two chairs wheelchair & recliner. The recliner she has now is DONE!
I will never, ever make another purchase at that store or will have any of my friends or family make a purchase.
