Cingular Wireless Complaint - Opps your on the wrong plan
LAFAYETTE, INDIANA -- I signed up for family plan with 2 phones in June 2003, in Feb. I added a phone for my kids, for 11 months I was billed and believed that my plan included mobile to mobile (unlimited, as that is what I was told at signup), however, in May I found out different. I received a bill for 400+ dollars for 1 month!!!! I called CW and was told that they did a sweep of the contracts and mine was never to have had the mobile to mobile. And NEVER notified or called me to let me know. So now I have 3 months worth of bills just like it. The CW rep stated to me that he could and would remove $130 off my bill but I would be responsible for the balance, I said I am not paying that! I talked to my local sales rep who assured me that she would take care of it. However after speaking with her, some of the charges have been removed, but I still owe 387.00 for 2 months when my bill has NEVER exceeded $120.00 and that included adding an additional phone and connection fees! Why did they not contact me and say that my contract had been swept and found to be incorrect? I think that it is BAD business.
