Dennys Restaurant Complaint - Customer Service ?

HIGHLAND PARK, ILLINOIS -- I recently mailed a letter to the offending restaurant on the Edens Expressway in Illinois as well as your HQ, informing you of the despiccable conditions of your restaurant and staff and the extremly poor service I had received there and got a form letter in return. I did not ask for anything other then an acknowledgement that my complaint would be taken serious. Instead you send me this excuse of a letter, produced by computer. You've lost me as a customer for good and I will convince as many people as I can to do the same and stay away from restaurants like yours that just don't care about customers.

To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

Nothing. You're doing everything to hurt your image already!

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident.

They have poor service all over. The Denny's I went to dumped a whole soda on my newborn and the manager never even came over to acknowledge the incident.

Please...it's Denny's. The only time I get (or expect) good customer service is if I know the waitress.

It's sad that people only report the negative. Denny's is full of loyal customers who dedicate whole websites to their love of the restaurant.

Good comments, also true. I was with my spouse and after the waitress took our order(I use that term loosely) she was almost have the dining room away when she realized the regional manager was there and actually hollard to us that a certain item was being offered and did we want that. I really don't expect upscale service but if I wanted everyone to know what I ordered I would have gone to a drivethru and yelled it into a box. Havn't been to one in years.

As senior and taking care of my budjet i tried the senior hamburger. What a shame to offer this thin sliced nothing worth piece of nothing to your customers. service dirty looking and not giving any attention. what are you doing?

I received a Denny's Gift certificate for my birthday. The experience I had was one of the worst I have ever had. Everything was brought to the small table at one time. I like to eat my salad first. Not this time. My food would have been gotten cold. I also refuse to ask more than two times for a refill on my ice tea. I guess one glass is all you get.

my wife and I have been going to this dennys store #7061 in N.j. And we have had the best service ever. The manager and the employee's there care about there costomer, its a well oiled group this owner has servers work well together the manager (Luis) is just not standing around he was always doing something. Thank you
