RCA 46" FLAT SCREEN LCD TV - Complaint
I purchased a NEW 46" LCD flat screen TV on 11/16/09 for almost $1000!! As of 10/20/09 it no longer works and was informed by their 'CSR' that the mainboard is bad, and since I can't locate my original receipt, I'm out of luck on their repairing it. The CSR was extremely rude to me and rather a smart___ to say the least. Besides, who in the earth expects a BRAND NEW TV to go out in just 11 months??? I had a wide screen Mitzubishi for 15 years that I NEVER had any problems with. I think I purchased the wrong brand!! Warning to buyers...if you buy RCA...hold on to your receipt!! Better yet...try buying a Mitzubishi!!

You should hold on to receipt no matter what brand you purchase.

Since the purchase date was 11 months ago, I assume the transaction occured 11/16/08. But as for holding on to the receipt, that's just common sense.
