Fingerhut Complaint - Either idiots or crooks or both!
I wanted to buy a zebra bedding set from Fingerhut. The customer service person (from India) asked for my ss# and credit card number before asking where the product was to be shipped or asking which design I wanted. He then closed the order and sent it!!! I said wait, we haven't even finished the order. He said I would have to call another 800 number and ask them to cancel the order. I then called the other 800 # waited on hold for 20 minutes when at lst a very kurt man came on who said to call tomorrow, that he could not do eanything!!! I then called my bank and they had already taken out the $80 plus another $1.25 - both unauthorized!!! ALL THIS DONE WITHIN MINUTES. After more calls and 6 emails, I still did not have my order cancelled or or my money back!
