We signed up for Access4less in June of 2004. One month later, our account was put on a manual "hold" status and we were unable to get online. Access4less charges a $5.00 fee (!) for every "technical service" call you make to them.

We called the number and, even though the recording said we had a wait time of 4 minutes, we held for 15. We finally got through to a "technical support" representative who said they had put our account on hold because "you have a virus or something in your computer". The "technical support" rep then proceeded to offer us a free copy of Macafee software (not free when you have to update the software...hmmm). I explained to the rep that, not only does my email have 3 Norton utility programs to filter virus programs but that I also use Trend Micro as well on my system.

Upon failing to give any REAL technical support (they are charging you $5.00 to speak with the equivalent of a telemarketer), I asked to speak to a supervisor. He replied that no supervisor was available but we could have a call-back from one within an HOUR.

90 MINUTES LATER, I call back ($5.00) and check on whether or not I would be receiving my call-back. THIS "technical support" representative explained that call backs take anywhere from 24 to 48 HOURS! I asked to speak to a supervisor, he refused. I asked for a supervisor's name, again he refused. He then HUNG UP.

We have REPEATEDLY tried to contact this company via email to EVERY address on their website (including corporate) to no avail. We have tried calling their corporate numbers (They are under HAWK COMMUNICATIONS IN ATLANTA GEORGIA) but those have been DISCONNECTED. (BY THE WAY, HAWK COMMUNICATIONS ALSO RUNS JOI AND ACCESS-4-FREE OFFERING DIFFERENT PRICES FOR THE SAME ((!!!)) SERVICE!)

We STILL have not received ANY response from ANYONE at Acces4less but we HAVE notified our bank to stop payment on any charges from them in the future.
