Geek Squad Complaint - Service Appointments Changed Without Notice
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- We paid for Geek Squad to install our 55" TV. I paid for and have a receipt for the date and time. They called the day before to reconfirm and left us a voice message. I have a copy of this voice message. The day of the install they changed everything and never notified us. Here we take off work, sit there waiting, nothing.
Now we are told they were there 3 hours early. Nope, we never left the house. Three people home, lights all on, cars in the driveway.
They tell us its our fault we missed the appointment. What?
Can't believe anyone would use them. Never again. I am putting a
stop on the credit card and having them come back for the TV.
Never have I been lied to like this. WOW!
Update: I called the home office of Best Buy and complained about this.
They were happy to know the situation. They contacted the Geek Squad
and I am told they will be here today to resolve this matter. The company headquarters
seems to be able to pressure the individual store into action. The individual store was going to just put me back in line. Lets hope the installer is not a jerk for having to come
back out. I own my own business and service is everything. As an owner I would want to know so contact the main office and let them know.
