Dell Computer Corporation Complaint - Bad sales rep and the worst customer service ever
I spoke with a sales representative with a particular computr and price range in mind, but he coninced me to buy the higher priced model to meet my needs. I received this very expensive computer which would not allow any software to be loaded. Plus did not get all the peripherals that was told would be provided. It finally took me over a week after being transferred from dept. to dept. that they agreed for me to return the computer without paying the ridculous 50% restocking fee. The customer service representative said she went out of her way to waive the penalty due to the trouble I was having trying to get help. She instructed me that they would send me a return voucher which I was instructed to fill out and send with computer to a UPS store. I never received the return labels and now sending me the invoices as if nothing ever happened. I already contacted a private consumer advocacy group but they too are having difficulty as each dept. keeps transferring them and finally get hung up on. The same experience they gave me. They will pay for this big time.
