American Airlines Complaint - LAX to San Diego American Eagle Connection
CALIFORNIA -- Just to keep up the record for this particular Avaition Carrier or perhaps it is LAX porter services to AA?
10/15-09 Aukland to LAX (Quantas) and thru US Customs no problem.... Bags still look secured with ribbon to zipper double know ties still intact.
When you finish customs and connect to American Eagle for the short flight where-ever they direct you to give up your non-carry-on bags to airport porters who simply roll your valuable/personal posessions off to a holding area if your next flight is not departing near term... of for that matter, they have control of your bags obviously away from TSA and normal airport security camerias... get the picture?
Results that day: Someone at LAX cut my double knot special, entered my bag and proceeded to load up an empty back pack with anything desired.
Upon receiving baggage at S. D. Commuter Terminal baggage claim, noticed the "Special" knot on one bag was missing and a now shorter ribbon single knot existed.
A. A. did write us a $ check for the proof of receipt items lost however this report is provided because I reciently discovered LAX reciently busted employees for this type or behavior and must have missed a few?
Question: Do I need to report baggage invasion/breech to the TSA? Who knows what these people could be placing into my baggage yet alone taking away?
