Personal complaint Complaint - Vote for your favorite cereal

Review by Chatterbox 2 on 2009-10-24
The email said vote for your favorite cheerios and receive 2 boxes free. When I submitted my vote I was told that I had entered a commercial address but I did not. I have lived at this address for 13 years and it is a 5 room house on a gravel road in a small town.

I hope if anyone else tries to do this does not have the trouble I did.

This is a public website. It would be a good idea to remove your personal address information. Too many crazies out there.

Is your house for sale?

First off, you should NOT put your address or other personal information on my3cents. Second, this "favorite Cheerios" offer might have been from a spam e-mail, and is put up by a spammer, NOT General Mills. (I receive the "Pepsi or Coke" e-mails off and on in my spam box.) Most of those spam e-mails put you through a lot of loops in order for you to (hopefully) get coupons for your "free" product, IF the coupons are NOT counterfeit...counterfeit coupons being a major problem for consumer product companies, supermarket, drug, and discount chains, and coupon clearinghouses alike. That "free Cheerios" offer was likely a scam.

Small town charm and solitude can both be yours in this cute 2 bedroom home on a quiet country road in Crab Orchard. Lovingly cared for by one owner for the last 13 years, everything you could want in a home for one fantastic price.
