Red Spot Parking Complaint - Red Spot Parking Complaint
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA -- When going to a dance club in downtown Minneapolis, my daughter and her 4 friends parked at Red Spot Parking Lot on 2nd avenue and 3rd street in downtown Minneapolis owned by the Masters Company. The girls put the $7.00 parking fee in the envelope and went on to the dance club. When returning my daughters car was towed away. She was frantic and found that it had been taken to Wrecker Service, Inc. $257 later, I was able to get the car out of hock. The salesman from that business told me that they have complaints about this exact thing happening to others who have paid and told that they did not find the envelope in the box. I believe that someone took the envelope and its contents out of the box whether it is an employee or street person. Mike says that sometimes street people do dig out the envelopes. There are five gals that can testify they put the money in the envelope and my daughter put it in the box. What happen to their envelope. We did not get any satisfaction talking to the manager. They need to set up a different type of secured payment system or have attendants available to collect the money. Where are their security cameras? My daughter has parked their other times and knows that if they do not pay they would be towed away, the signs are posted stating this, so her not paying is not an option to consider.
