Knology Complaint - Knology Poor Service
I have been a customer of Knology for approximately 7 years. I recently uograded my service with them and experienced horrible service. They did NOT keep their appointment for the upgrade, then when they did the upgrade, several days later, they charged me as if they had made the install as initially setup. This is when thing went really bad! Getting them to do a proper credit was a mess. They corrected the bill over the phone, gave me an amount due, which I paid, then they billed a different amount. Long story short, I dealt with customer servcie in Georgia, and they had no clue what programs were being offered in SD, and were arrogant and disrespectful. I then received "past due" notices with a threat to close my account. I guess being a customer for 7 years means nothting to them.
Beware of their service and what they tell you. I suggest that you get it in writing! Ask for a detaied listing of their costs when signing up. There are many additional fees and often fine print. By the way, when you sign for their service, you in effect, give up your rights for any recourse against them. READ what you Sign!!
