BRONX, NEW YORK -- These so called company GE captial is one hot mess, when you call there service, there all from India and non speaking not to mention there dialect is so bad you cannot understand them when you try to get them to answer your question they have no understanding of anything. it is a pourly run business that should be put out of business a. s.ap. they are truly the most disgusting, applaling company out there! and they stop honoring any more credit lines ! why? so the big jack assses ceos can profit, but what else is knew, think of car companies and banks, if they call me again and don't speak English, I will never talk to them!! I will call and write to someone to find out if its legal to charge ontop of a late fee a fiance charge with that late fee? does any one know of that?

It's pretty obvious you are quite irritated with GE. But the fact is they calculate interest based on the outstanding balance. They do not isolate fees from that calculation.
The only time balances are separated into categories is when you make a payment and then it is applied to the lower interest balances first.
