We have a 6month old Amana front load washer with a broken latch. We have been waiting 2 months for service. Pretty much the same lousy service everyone is getting - The front (plastic) latch broke on the washer, called customer service, took 45 min., told them exactly what part was needed, agent looked it up and made an appt with the service co - repairman came out within a week, with no part and did nothing, I took a day without pay to wait for him, scheduled another appt to install part, company called that morning to cancel because they had not located the part, another no pay day and 3 more weeks of waiting, and still no washer. Am still waiting for the part and repair. Do not purchase Amana, their quality is awful and their service is non-existent.
