Video Professor Complaint - Won't return your money

Review by diana1362 on 2009-10-31
Saw the ad for "ebay" video professor, got the package, did not want the service, called and canceled, received a return authorization #, called the company, they have received the merchandise, and three months later they will not return the money. They have made an unauthorized deduction from my credit card in the amount of 189.95. I was told it would take 21 days for the money to be returned. It has been almost three months, and every week I get the same thing "it will be five business days, you have been placed on the top of the list."

Wow I just googled them and there are all kinds of people that have issues with getting their money back. http://www2.wspa.com/spa/news/problem_solver/article/laurens_man_says_video_professor_free_trial_cost_him_big_money/26413/ Nothing in life is free is it?

Companies like this drag the refund process out because the longer you wait the more likely you will go past the amount allowed by the credit card to dispute the charges. Call the credit card company TODAY and tell them what happened. Be sure to tell them the date you called and the names of the people you spoke to at the company.

It says in the tiny Terms, that after a certain period they will deduct that much out of your account if you don’t cancel. The good professor has a nice little scheme going

The Video Professor free DVD scam is one of the oldest auto ship scams on the Internet. How this clown keeps his merchant account is a real mystery because just about everyone charges his crap back.
