T-Mobile Complaint - Do Not Choose T-Mobile !
If you are thinking about choosing T-Mobile as your wireless carrier........DON'T !
I have been a customer for about a year and regret the day I signed up for "service". I have had many problems ranging from dropped calls to not having the home service (T-Mobile@Home) that I contracted to receive. These problems caused me to spend hours on the phone being transferred from one person to the next until we finally fixed (or so I thought) the problem. It eventually would happen again! This was the beginning of the end. The final straw was when I accidentally broke the LCD screen on my cell phone. I had service for over a year and thought that maybe I could get a replacement phone (free one that I got when I first contracted)because I never received the "free" upgrade I was entitled to after my first year. OMG! What an outlandish request!!! After talking to the store employees, then "customer service"......I was totally flustered. I was told the because I had upgraded my account I would only receive a "slight" discount on a phone. I wouldn't be "eligible" for an upgrade for eight more months.
I explained how unhappy I was with the service that they had provided and with the customer service. I had been treated so poorly that I told them that I might have to find another company that could provide the service that they failed to provide. I was told that if cancel my service, I would be billed $200.00 per line to cancel. That's 3 lines at $200.00 = $600.00!!!! Sure enough, I received a bill today for $648.00 due IN FULL in two weeks! I NEVER agreed to paying $200 per "line". I understood about the ETF being $200, but I was never told it was per line. I have read their "agreement" and nowhere is it stated that the etf will be $200 "per line". I will be seeking legal advise in this matter.
