Garry Smith Family Dentistry Complaint - Terrible Dental Experience

Review by Rights Advocate on 2009-11-04
FISHERS, INDIANA -- This Dentist could not get my dental bridge right so he fired me as a patient. He claimed I was too picky. He was verbally abusive and yelled at me in the Dentist chair while shoving the dental bridge in my mouth while temporarily gluing it in, all the time ranting about how I didn't know what I was talking about. He actually told me to shut up! After 3 other consults with other Dentists they all concurred that this Dentist didn't get the bridge right. They couldn't believe nor could I that he thought this was an acceptable bridge.

Apparently, he lacked the expertise to finish the job correctly. Hopefully, he will invest in some dental refresher courses and some anger management classes.

Wow, that's really bad. Can you get written statements from the other 3 dentists, then file a complaint against the original dentist??

Good luck.

um.... why would you have to go to 3 other dentists? Shouldn't one have been enough to get it right if it was such an easy thing to make you happy? This whole things sounds like a personal vendetta, and it would surely never stop me from using that particular dentist

So, 3 other dentists told it was wrong? And none of THEM were able to fix it either?

It's always good to get three outside expert opinions and their cost. It sounds like they all agreed he was incapable of getting it right based upon what they saw. No one should put up with verbal abuse especially when they are paying for a service so poorly rendered.
