Cruises-n-more Complaint - Victim of a "bait n switch"
LAKE MARY, FLORIDA -- Booked a cruise online with Cruises-n-more because they advertised a rate lower then anyone else online. I used my credit card to make the booking and was given a confirmation # and was able to verify it with the cruise line. The next day I got an e-mail from cruise-n-more stating that my credit card was declined and my cruise would be canceled if I didn't call their 800 # to resolve it. I called and was helped by an agent who said I would still get the price quoted on their website....NOT!! I got my new invoice 2 days later and it was almost $600 more then the quoted price. I tried for more then a week to get it corrected, but like others have posted....they won't answer the phone or return messages. I finally got in touch with a customer service agent and ask to have my booking canceled and was told their would be a non-refundable $75.00 cancellation fee along with a non-refundable $29.00 "unlimited customer service fee"??.....yeah right!!...More like unlimited use of their voice mail that no body listens to or answers "fee"!!
I've booked through many travel agencies before, but this company is bar non the worst I've had the displeasure of working with!
I called by credit card company to dispute the charges and cruises-n-more did refund the $75.00 cancellation fee, but would not refund the $29.00.
Pretty easy money....over-charge customers and then sock'em with fee's when they get frustrated with the lack of customer service and want to cancel?!
