Pontiac - Woodbridge, VA Route 1 Complaint - Pontiac Dealer and GM Warranty

Review by Infarmybrat on 2009-11-05
WOODBRIDGE, VIRGINIA -- Bought an 07 Torrent from Woodbridge, VA route 1 Pontiac. The car is leaking water from the roof somewhere and has drenched the inside twice, Once filled the well in the trunk under the spare tire and now has found a path through the ceiling into the drop down entertainment system and soaked the floor and back seat. Dealer won't cover it. Says the warranty doesn't cover water leakage of any type on the 36mos/36K warranty and my 7 year/100K mile warranty doesn't cover it. What good is the warranties if the product is defective. And the dealer talked us into an after market entertainment system through their contacts. Entertainment system is shot. They won't honor a problem with the car's poor manufacturing that is damaging the car and the entertainment system. don't buy a car from Pontiac on Route 1 in Woodbridge, VA. The funny think is I'm a GMPP family member too.

I'd try calling Pontiac customer care if I were you. If you don't have a sunroof it sounds like this leak could be coming from the rear hatch. It might be an easy fix. Sometimes that rubber seal gets pulled/poked just enough to allow water in.
