TXU Electric Complaint - Worst service ever
This electric company is horrible horrible horrible. I paid a $300 deposit. Then they turned off my service when they had told me there would be no interruption in service...then they charged me to turn on the service even though TXU Electric admitted that it was their fault that it was turned off...all of my groceries spoiled and I was charged $97 because they had to turn my service (again which TXU admitted that they had shut off in error) because the TXU employee/contractor had to reconnect my service at an unusual hour. After 4 months, they are still showing these charges on my bill. They are still trying to charge me the $300 which I already paid and the $97 to reconnect service. I still have not been reimbursed for the groceries that were spoiled ($150). I have now called 6 times regarding this matter and I have been disconnected 4 times. What do I need to do to get their attention? If you have the option not to use TXU Electric, choose that other option. They provide terrible customer service and their accounting dept is awful. I hope that I can help someone else avoid this terrible service from TXU Electric.
