Comcast Corporation Complaint - Charge for modem but no modem
I just NOW discovered (because I'm on autopay and don't have the need to look at my bill normally) that COMCAST has been charging me for a MODEM since January of 2009. I have used my OWN modem since inception, so this is not a legitimate charge. Since COMCAST has direct knowledge of what modem I do use, there is NO EXCUSE to start charging me for rental of a modem. I wonder how many such accounts COMCAST did this to. And if you ever had notification of it by now (which I'm sure I'm not the first, nor only customer this has happened to) why, OH WHY, you haven't just corrected it automatically. TELL ME WHY YOU YOU'RE NOT WIDE OPEN TO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AT THIS POINT. This is intentional, malicious, and greedy. I want to know WHY AND HOW this has happened, and why it's supposedly gone unchecked on your part!
