Ashley Furniture Compliment - Worried Customer - Customer Service
NILES, ILLINOIS -- I went into Ashley and was excited that I had finally found a place that had nice looking things at a good price. I had been to a couple other stores and everything was either pricey or ugly if it was in my price range. I ordered a bedroom set and was really excited about it. I then came home and read all the reviews and was so scared that I had made a horrible choice, everyone was say the worst things. I called my sales consultant and told her about the reviews and said that I wanted to cancel. She told me that the corporate stores would stand by their product and service. She went all the way up the chain and eased my fears about everything including talking to her boss and getting his guarantee. I liked that even though I was out of the store she was able to talk to me for almost an hour just to make me feel better. Evidently there are franchise stores and corporate stores all around the country. I strongly think that makes a difference. I kept my order because she said that if anything was wrong they would fix it. The delivery guys were great and everything was in perfect condition. She even called me after to make sure everything went well and sent me a thank you. My suggestions is to review the stores personally because you never know which one is bad and which one is great. I will only buy furniture from this sales consultant now because I know that she has my best interests at heart and if she can't fix it she will find the perfect person to deal with it.
