Clear wire Complaint - DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO CLEARWIRE

I had heard a few good things about Clearwire so I went ahead and signed up. The representative who signed me up said I had "GREAT" coverage in my area. So 3 days later I get the modem, plug it in, can't get a signal any where in my house. Now I feel stupid for trying all their 'tricks' to get a better signal. So I called up immediately to cancel so I could get it back to them before the 7 days is up. When I spoke to the technician representative he told me he didn't even know why they had me sign up as I was on the very tip of their signal area (he said within. 5 miles) Then I spoke to the customer service representative who then said " Would you like to keep your service after we return the router" WHAT? are you kidding me. I could not believe he would even ask such a thing. I then asked him why I would want to keep my service for something that did not work for me??? Anyway, do not get clear wire they are crooks and will do anything to get you locked into their 2 year contract and figure you won't cancel the service within their 7 day window of opportunity and get stuck with either continuing to pay for the crappy or non existent service, or pay a $180.00 early termination fee.
