S P O Jacksonville, Florida Complaint - Closing of Service Parts Operation -General Motors

Review by Firecracker on 2009-11-09
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- How can GM say they are a family when they are closing plants down and forcing people that have given their time to make their plants #1 in the Region. They only care for the rich getting richer and making the workers feel they are nothing but workers, when it is the workers that have made the rich the money. I was always at heart when it came to American Made Cars, just to keep America running, but the Americans that are higher up in the company only care for themselves. It is not their lives being riped out from under them, it isn't their families that are having to drop everything to satifiy the company, it is the workers that get up every day give a 100% with the sweet and labor! Lets see the CEO's, Investors, and all at International of General Motors work a month in these workers shoes and see if they still think they are better than those ones that are being FORCED to relocate cause a Location is being closed. Lets see if for ONE MONTH those ones that draw a six figure income to live off $1500.00 a month and still come into work and do a outstanding job! Suits and ties are nice only when the real workers are took care of FIRST! People that sit up in their nice International Offices have lost the meaning of what America Stands for; "We The People". I want everybody (@ GM International) to stop and think what it would do to your lives if GM International was forced to downsize and it was to start at the top, what this would make them feel like, to actually have to give up something that is nothing but a job that can be done for a lesser price than fancy offices, cars, and PAY-CHECKS.
sTOP TAKING FROM THE POOR AND TAKE FROM THE RICH, THEY SHOULD WAKE UP AND THANK THE WORKERS THAT HAVE GIVEN THEM THE LIFE STYLE THEY HAVE.
