FTD Complaint - DO NOT USE FTD
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I will never use FTD again. Ever. Tell all your friends. Background: I am in the military, and I am away from home a lot as you can imagine. The weekend of this order was my anniversary. I had to go to duty through that period. Now, my wife has cancer... not asking for sympathy, just so you understand how mad this made me. So I ordered flowers via the FTD website for delivery on the day of our anniversary so she would know I was thinking of her, while she was sick at home from the after effects of chemo. Imagine my surprise when I got home and... nothing. My wife thought I had forgotten. No calls from the florist, nothing. So I emailed customer service... 48 hrs later they got back to me. In the meantime, they charged me and sent me a delivery confirmation email! The customer service lame excuse was that "the shop isn't open on Saturday." When I asked why they had passed the order to a shop that wasn't open on the delivery date they had no answer. Their only apology was to deliver the order 2 days late and give me 40% off. Pathetic. LESSON LEARNED: DO NOT USE FTD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
