Federal Express Corporation Complaint - Slow Delivery
My boyfriend used FedEx to ship a birthday gift to me. He shipped it on Wednesday and the lady told him I would have it by Saturday. Saturday came and when I went to check my mail, the package wasn't there. I came back to my room and looked up the tracking number online. My present was at a facility in a city 10 minutes away, but there was a note saying it would be delivered the next business day. This was annoying enough - I mean, it's 10 minutes away, why couldn't the package be delivered that day? Also, even though there was a note that said it would be delivered the next business day (Monday), the estimated delivery date was Tuesday. I thought that was ridiculous, but figured that my package would actually arrive Monday and that they had said that just to be safe. Well, today is Monday and guess what? NO PACKAGE. I think it's pretty bogus that I don't have it by now, especially since it's been 10 minutes away since Saturday. I realize that sometimes mailing/shipping stuff can be a little slow, but this is absurd. I don't think there is any logical reason for why I haven't gotten my gift yet, when it's basically here. I never plan on using FedEx again, I will stick with the Postal Service.
