Tempe Kia Complaint - Defective Parts - Propeller Shaft Carrier Bearing

TEMPE, ARIZONA -- I had ordered a Carrier Bearing for the rear Propeller Shaft. The Part was vibrating completely. To the point that my customer stated 'It feels like you didn't fix my problem. I had my technician pull the propeller shaft, to be sent out and check by the most reputable drive-shaft/axle Repair facility in Phoenix, AZ. Phoenix Rack & Axle. Great business. They spent TWO(2) days working on this thing trying to balance it, replace U-Joints, & checking all measurements and connections. It Turns out the carrier bearing was what the problem was, but the carrier bearing was already a new one from Tempe KIA. Phoenix rack & axle was working at 6p. m., and Kia closes at 5. My customer needed her car. So I had them replace it considering the circumstances. Now Tempe KIA won't even issue me a credit. Stating that my master technician, who has 20+ years and 2 college degrees, installed the part wrong and damaged it. The only damage was it being pressed off by my axle shop. I do a lot of business with TEMPE KIA, and I never thought I would be writing a complaint about them, Other than this my experience has been good. But now the want to put blame on me because they don't want to admit that they can have bad parts on the shelf. I never wanted my money back, Just credit for the bad part they sold me. I believe that I now will have to contact the BBB and AAA, to let them know of this infraction, Specifically by DAN in the parts department. He is the one making the accusations.

Thanks for telling half the story. You left out the part when Dan (that's me) tried to submit a parts warranty claim for a "defective" carrier bearing. You left out that you're axle shop ("the most reputable drive-shaft/axle Repair facility in Phoenix, AZ") told you the carrier was installed improperly. I know they told you this because YOU PRINTED IT ON THE REPAIR ORDER YOU SUBMITTED TO ME!! Why would I (or any parts manager) knowingly submit a fraudulent claim?
