Main street America Complaint - Cheating/Irresponsible and unethical insurance company
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- I had an accident in OCT 09. My front bumper was damaged as well as my windshield was damaged with chips on it. First of all you will not get any person whom you can speak directly. You need to leave may be 4 or 5 Voice messages daily to touch base with them.
Second they have given me a rental car which is much smaller than what I used to own.
Third They have denied to put OEM parts on my Vehicle. when asked they said we cannot pay for such higher prices.
I compromised all the above things as thinking they were minor.
The irony is that although my windshield is damaged they have rejected to fix it. I told then that if fixing all the chips which are caused due to the accident is more costly than the price of the windshield then replace it. Even then they rejected it. NO response from the appraiser manager even after so many voice messages. I don't know what to do with such an irresponsible Insurance company.
I would strongly recommend not to buy any insuarnce product from this company and if you are unlucky like me to deal with this company in any form then be prepared to allocate a significant amount of time to talk to these people because I guarantee that you need to make at leat 3 or 4 calls to get an reply and even after there is no guarantee that you will get a response from them.
Also be careful what you get in writing from the appraiser. you may not get it fixed even though it is in writing in the estimate.
