DURBAN -- I have purchased a Sahara laptop on the recommendation of one of its employees.
After one year and 20days the motherboard was faulty.
I approached the company hoping that they will waiver the costs in repairing the laptop. This was based on the guarantee period expiring by only 20days.
I have other laptops whose lifespan on the motherboard is much greater than this.
What recourse do I have. This laptop was bought for a school serving an indigent community. The Dep. Managing Director refused to accept the plight of the school. This company does not care - about its consumers. I and my colleagues have learnt a lesson about Sahara Laptops. Be warned!!!
