USAir Compliment - Great service without even asking

I used 2 travel vouchers for my wife and myself on USAir. I made reservations and gave the voucher numbers. The USAir agent handled it all on the phone and applied the vouchers. I was not paying too much attention to the amounts because it was a substantial discount. I know, my fault. A few days before my trip I called to check on the status of the flight, seats, etc (I can't remember why I didn't do it online but I didn't.) The man I talked to was concerned about my reservation and said hold on. When he came back on the line he said I'm getting a refund because the first agent screwed up the voucher's. 1 voucher was applied but only part of the 2nd voucher. I thanked him very much and within a week the refund was in my credit card! He fixed a problem I didn't even know I had! Thanks, USAir.

One should NEVER have to ASK for great service.

I agree but it was still a surprise that USAir told me about the problem and fixed it.
