Nordstrom.com Complaint - Nordstrom.com down the toilet
I used to buy from nordstrom.com all the time because they had a great selection, an easy to navigate website and there was great email follow up and correspondence once you placed an order. Well, in August 2009 they got a new system and it stinks, so as a result, the website STINKS. Most of everything I ordered that was supposed to be shipped to me was later told to me to be "out of stock". I have received two to three emails on an item that was in stock, then delayed, then delayed again and then unavailable. A week later, the same item is STILL on the website for sale even though it is unavailable. Whoever decided that this upgrade is good for business is a moron and should be fired. For a company that prided itself on customer service, they are really missing the mark. I don't waste my time anymore shopping online because I know that there's a 80% chance that the item they are adverstising is not available.
