Campingworld in Syracuse NY Complaint - An attempt to get service

Review by SAMMYBEAR on 2009-11-16
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK -- To-day, 11-16-09 I phoned the Campingworld store located just outside of the city of Syracuse NY in an attempt to have a 'possible propane leak in my RV checked & repaired, if necessary'. I used the automated phone system for service but no-one answered. Finally their company operator answered and said "no-body must be home to-day. Let me ring them for you". After a three and a half minute wait a member of the service dept answered, using a nickname. I explained my problem and the best that he could do for me was "December 3rd". This is not the first time that I have dealt with this particular store. The time before that I was at the store and wanted to buy propane. An employee 'reluctantly said that he "would get somebody to meet me at the propane shed". I waited ten minutes, that time, without any success. I would strongly urge any area campers and/or campers passing through this area to pass this store by. There's one in Amsterdam NY and I intend to try that store.
