British Airways Complaint - Disgusting Food, Simply Horrible
I have been a Gold Card Executive Club member for more than 15 years. I have just travelled on my points in Economy for a weekend break in Dubai. The food that was served-up on both the outbound and inbound flight was disgusting. So much so that our dog would not eat it.
It is sickening to see the demise of the once mighty 'World's Favourite Airline'. Today it must rank as one of the worst. The term customer service has gone AWOL. Airlines such as Emirates, Etihad, Continental, Easyjet, Jet2.com et. al. have all surpassed BA for service & performance at an affordable cost.
They even wanted to charge me £240 to upgrade to Premium Economy for the return leg of our journey? How sickening that would have been - a proposition to sit in slightly wider seats and be faced with simply inedible food, cooked hours before, reheated and packaged in plastic and foil. No wonder we did not see the flight crew eating during the 7 hour flight.
If you do have to travel BA I would advocate you enjoying a hearty meal before you board your flight or take your own food with you.
