Best Buy Complaint - My aggravation of purchasing and having installed two Home theater systems
GASTONIA, NORTH CAROLINA -- Best Buy had an add for a Sony TV and Sony Surround Sound Theater system. I purchased two of them, one for my husband and one for my son for Christmas. It took over an hour 1/2 to just check out at the store. The sales person we purchased from told me that if I wanted to upgrade the TV mount I could come by and pay an additional $50 before they came out. Well I went by and was then informed the mount didn't come with the package I had purchased. Then on the Friday I had to be home for them to deliver the equipment the people only brought one surround sound system out. They had to come by my house at 7:30 AM on Saturday before the guy from the Geek Squad came out. Then the Geek Squad Guy came and informed me that he could not install the equipment at my son's house(only one house away) since his order only stated for our house. We informed him that the sales representative knew that it was for two different homes and stated that was no problem just let the Geek Squad know. Then the Geek Squad guy informed us that the charge we were charged didn't include the wires for the two systems, that would be an additional $100.00. After spending almost $3,000.00 they were still trying to get more from me!! The Geek Squad Guy was fantastic and was only doing his job (which he did well), but I promise I will never, never, never buy any thing else from Best Buy!!!!!
