Total protect Complaint - Total protect home warranty service
I have a plan through Total Protect. I pay a monthly fee plus a service charge per call. I have had nothing but problems with this plan. I have had problems on my plumbing, furnace and now electrical and each time I have called for service I get the same rehearsed message from the reps. "we are sorry but we are trying to locate a service person in your area." They don't have a list of qualified companies to service the problems. So you wait and wait usually 48 hrs to see if anyone is coming out to repair your problem. And then if not you have to pay someone out of pocket and have them reimburse you later. The point of being on the plan is not to have to pay out of pocket. I live in a city with many companies available to come out to repair problems but the company Total Protect has not bothered to ask enough of them to be on call for the calls. I am not happy at all with this plan for home repairs from Total Protect and you get no good service from them at all when you call. don't get this plan. And I got this plan from a mailing from my bank who sent it to me. figure that one out.
