Brothers Printers Complaint - Brothers Printer Run Around and Scam

I purchased a Brothers Multifunction laser printer in October for over $600. The printer NEVER worked. Within a week of delivery we had spent several hours on the phone with 3 levels of tech support trying to get the thing to work. Finally Brothers sent a tech out to our house. He worked on the machine for over 4 hours, installing new parts and he could not get it to print.

When I contacted Brothers the real run-around started. I was informed by a person with a nearly unintelligible Indian accent that nothing could be done, they would not take it back or send me a replacements. I had to follow their "process" which included a step by step shakedown, the next being another vist home by still another repairman. However, I would have to wait 30 days for that!! How was I supposed to run a home business with no fax or printer in the meantime?

Their products are inferior and their customer service is a joke.

Did you READ the installation instructions and FOLLOW them? I have a Brother multi-function and have used it for 4 years with no issues.
