Mimi s cafe Complaint - Big NO for MIMI s cafe

Review by evg on 2009-11-24
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- the food and service were equally bad! sadly we end up paying 40 dollars just for the 2 adults, very high price for this kind of food

What did you have?
MG, what is the big deal? When I dine out, I pay 3 times that much and that is when I am in Pinal County, let alone when I am in Phoenix!

I'll make sure to skip this joint.

I love Mimi's Cafe. Wally, we sould go sometime
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
What kind of food do they serve? Traditional American? Tex-Mex?
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
I've heard a lot of hoopla about Mimi's cafe but when I ate there it was more of the same over priced plastic corporate food straight off the sysco truck prepared by general laborers akin to Chili's, Applebees and The Outback. I was very disappointed to say the least.

It's comfort food. I've done a review on it
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
I guess I can go if you wanna :)
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Oh, one of those type of chain eateries, huh?
I have heard good things about Outback.
I prefer local Steak joints.

I'll let you know wally
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Yeah ZZ it's just another one of those chain casual dining restaurants with the big colorful menus, clever names for everything and the food has all the flavor of a salt lick.

Outback used to be awesome but not anymore. The quality of their meat has really taken a nose dive. It's hard to find a good piece of meat these days.

*laughing* We went to Applebee's the other day. I got a decent New Your Strip.
The charged me tax on my Tangaray!
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
What's a New Your Strip ZZ?
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-11-24:
Never had a New Your Strip...tell us about it, ZZ!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-11-24:
I don't like Applebees.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
It is a nice cut of beef steak. I think it is a part of the T-Bone.

Next time you're in Oklahoma City head down to Cattlemens for some awesome steak and testicles or hit it for breakfast for some out of this world cow brains and eggs. You'll be glad you did.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
I don’t know what a new your strip is, But I like a nice new York strip steak lol
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Stewart, I don't do Rocky Mountain Oysters. We have a Cattleman's out here by where they have the Stock Show.

This topic is making me hungry. I'm gonna have to see if Sue is in the mood for some testicles.

It's a cut from the loin, but when it is kept attached to the bone with a piece of tenderloin attached it's a t-bone or porterhouse
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Jkt, What's your favorite steak cut?
Posted by jktshff1 on 2009-11-24:
Really hungry, like a good t-bone, normally enjoy a small fillet. Depends upon who is paying! lol
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:

Posted by jktshff1 on 2009-11-24:

Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Wally, you make fun of my misprint but you capitalize the B in "but" after a comma and don't capitalize the N in "New?"
Brilliant! *el-oh-el*

Aw ZZ be nice
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Well ZZ, I’m not as smart as you, so what’s your excuse on being a dullard?
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Okay, 'tis the holiday season and he too is my brethren.
Yaya did you say that you had been to that pizza joint out there that is open daily for a short time and was featured on the Food Channel?
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
I bet ZZ, could teach me some nice Janitorial skills.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
You mean Pizzeria Bianco ZZ? Nope, havent been there yet. Rumor is you have to start lining up at like 2pm and wait for them to open
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
I think that is it.
Now I like a good pizza but standing in line? Must be a tradition/fad, huh?
There is a "greasy spoon" out here called Pete's Kitchen and you should see the line on Saturdays and Sundays for breakfast.
The place has been there forever, hence the tradition.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Wait in line for some mediocre pizza? no thanks.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Yaya, has Wally been there? Why is he knocking the place?
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
Wally, it's voted best pizza in America.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
....And people wonder why I get on his case for commenting on things he knows nothing about.
Yaya, you need to straighten that kid out.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:
I been there, I waited 4 hours in line. Had the Rosa pizza. it was good, but didn’t blow my socks of.
Posted by Anonymous on 2009-11-24:

This letter is simply too long for me to sit through. I can't read it. I advise the writer to edit their letter for pointless facts and details and then re-post.
